Betty Sankarlal has been a member of TIWA since August, 2006. At the Annual General Meeting in May, 2007, she was elected Executive Officer to the Board.

In her role as Executive Officer, Betty will act as liaison between the Board and the following committees: Cowan Insurance Group Award, Travelers Education Award, Education, Insurance Fundamentals, Meeting Coordinator, Membership and the Wine & Cheese.

Betty was a volunteer on the February 2007 Wine & Cheese Committee.

Betty has been in the insurance industry for 18 years and is presently employed as a LHT Underwriter at Kingsway General Insurance Company.
